Beacon At-Risk Alert

What is Beacon?

The Beacon Early Alert System’s At-Risk Alert Process allows faculty to notify key support staff about student issues that may be impacting student academic performance. The Beacon Academic At-Risk Alert is a one-way process for faculty to send information about students. Within the Beacon Early Alert System, the Student Success Facilitators (SSF) are able to monitor and take action on incoming alerts immediately. If more information is required, the SSF may reach out to faculty to request additional details.

A Beacon Academic At-Risk Alert may be created at any time by faculty. The Alert should be used for important communications of a timely nature where action by the SSF is required.

Read the following section to learn how to send these alerts.
