The SCTL has created a series of online asynchronous learning modules known as "Building Blocks" for faculty/staff.
Building Blocks are designed to explore key topics and create another access point for learning. Participants must begin the process by enrolling themselves in a Blackboard course that contains the materials for each Building Block. They will then be review a series of learning materials and complete a simple knowledge check at the end of the learning experience. More details will be provided as the SCTL pilots this new engagement strategy.

The Teaching Excellence framework at SLC fosters professional growth by positioning teaching as an evolving practice. This Professional Growth Plan template is intended to support educators in identifying personal learning goals that will enable them to further explore the various teaching domains included within this framework. Please note that a PGP is intended to be time bound and reflect an individual's current professional learning needs, which are expected to evolve over time.
